Welcome to Brew Brew Coffee & Tea! 

Inspired by the café culture so prevalent in Chicago and by our passion for coffee, we open our doors to coffee and tea lovers that want a place where they can enjoy locally roasted coffee, high quality tea, and delicious food as much as we do.

Brew Brew Coffee and Tea is an inclusive modern Mexican coffee shop in Avondale. Owners and siblings moved from Tijuana, Mexico, to Chicago in September 2000. They bought their first location in their own neighborhood of Avondale (3832 W. Diversey Avenue) in 2014. They transformed the space from a corner convenience store that attracted trouble to a bustling neighborhood community place that filled a need in the area. On the success of the Avondale store, they opened their Pilsen location in July 2017. The Pilsen location was closed on April 2022.

The Medrano’s have worked hard to create an environment and menu that reflects their Mexican roots. Brew Brew was designed to be a space that reminds people of home or their travels through Latin American countries. The decor, specialty food & drink items, and the welcoming staff combine to offer guests a comfortable experience with inclusive energy.

We aim to create a space where guests feel truly valued through our quality offerings, genuine hospitality, and authentic connections. Our goal is to become a part of our guests’ daily lives—a place they feel at home.
